Discover Unrivaled Power and Luxury with Brabus

BRABUS GmbH, established in 1977 in Bottrop, Germany, stands as one of the most renowned high-performance aftermarket tuning companies, specializing in Mercedes-Benz, Smart, Tesla, and Maybach vehicles. Founded by visionary entrepreneur Bodo Buschmann, Brabus emerged from his desire to push automotive customization beyond conventional limits. Frustrated by the lack of customizers who could meet his high standards, Buschmann took matters into his own hands and partnered with Klaus Brackman to meet the legal requirements for founding a company in Germany. Their surnames combined to create the iconic Brabus brand name. However, Brackman soon departed, selling his shares to Buschmann for a mere 100 euros, leaving Buschmann to take full control and shape Brabus into an automotive powerhouse.

Brabus quickly gained a reputation for transforming already exceptional Mercedes-Benz models into awe-inspiring machines of unparalleled luxury and performance. While Mercedes-AMG became DaimlerChrysler’s official performance division in the 1990s, Brabus carved out its niche as the largest independent Mercedes tuner, raising the bar for automotive excellence.

Beyond tuning, Brabus expanded its reach by building a third factory in Bottrop in 2012, solidifying its position as a leader in innovation and customization. The company’s relentless pursuit of engineering perfection, bespoke designs, and unique performance enhancements continues to captivate automotive enthusiasts worldwide, offering an exclusive blend of power, luxury, and individuality that sets Brabus apart in the world of high-performance vehicles.
